01 Thesis Oxrow connects your systems of record, layers in external intelligence, and gives your entire team a shared operating picture. OX-AB-01

Every growing season demands thousands of decisions. Most operators make them on stale data, fragmented across disconnected systems — or on instinct sharpened by decades but limited by what one person can hold in their head.

Oxrow connects your systems of record, layers in external intelligence, and gives your entire team a shared operating picture — down to the block, the pool, the lot. Real-time. Queryable. Actionable.

Proudly headquartered in Silicon Valley Yakima Valley, Washington. We sit inside the industry we serve.

03 Origin story Oxrow was born on a hop farm where the data existed but never moved fast enough to change a decision. OX-AB-03

Patrick Smith runs a 3,250-acre hop and apple operation in Washington's Yakima Valley. The farm generated data everywhere — payroll systems, agronomy records, packer reports, financial spreadsheets — but it rarely moved across systems or reached decision-makers in time to influence outcomes. Every season, the team made thousands of cost, labor, and quality decisions on instinct or stale numbers, then spent months after harvest figuring out what had actually happened.

Patrick trained in accounting and business analytics, and saw peers in other industries sprinting toward real-time data while agriculture remained, in his words, "in notepads and Excel." The constraint wasn't a lack of data. It was that no tool understood how agricultural economics actually worked — cost per acre, pool returns, block-level profitability, labor piece rates — well enough to connect the systems and deliver answers during the season, not after it.

Oxrow was the answer. Built on the hop farm, tested against real operational decisions, and designed so that every leader across field, office, and boardroom works from the same economic truth. In its first full crop year, the platform identified $1.3 million in operational waste — not by working harder, but by learning faster.
